There are plenty of good restaurants in the metro that are great for family gatherings. One of the restaurants that my sisters and I would frequent for an impromptu get together is the Amici Restaurant . This Italian restaurant has been around for more than a decade already and a favorite of our eldest sister who is very fond of Italian food.
Our usual picks include the Caesar Salad, Squash Bisque with Cinnamon, Blue Cheese and Pear Salad, and Fried Mozzarella Sticks for appetizers. Classic Pizza and Pasta dishes like Margherita or Four Cheese Pizza and Spaghetti with meat sauce are favorites but we also go for their special pizzas from time to time. Some of the delightful treats that we enjoyed include the Smoked Salmon Top-Crust Pizza, Bacon and Cream Cheese Pizza, Spaghetti Red Vongole, Spinach Ravioli, and Aglio Olio Spaghetti.
Aside from Amici Restaurant’s pizza and pasta, I also like their risotto dishes especially their Seafood Chowder Risotto. The Chicken Parmigiana, Rosemary Chicken, Lemon Butter Sole and Roast Pork with Mango Marmalade are some of the dishes that we have come to love.
But if you ask the kids, nothing beats dessert in this place with an array of Cara Mia Gelato and Cakes to choose from. The Mango Sans Rival for one is a certified hit for kids and adults.
Amici Restaurant is among our favorite family restaurants but it can also be a good venue for a romantic dinner on Valentine’s Day. Visit any of their branches and check out their Valentine’s Day Menu for a lovely and romantic treat.
